Team Member Biography: David Olson

David Olson is a school psychologist in the Faribault School District (ISD-656). Over the twenty plus years he has worked in the district, David has provided services at all levels from the Preschool, Elementary, Middle School, High School and Alternative School. His current placement is at the High School. He participated in the production of the original Reducing Bias Manual in 1998.

David’s graduate training includes Master of Social Work (MSW) from UW-Milwaukee, Education Specialist (EdS) degree in Guidance & Counseling & School Psychology from UW-Stout and Education Specialist degree (EdS) in Special Education Administration from Minnesota State University – Mankato. He is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with the MN Board of Social Work, holds his National Certification for School Psychology (NCSP), and is licensed by the Minnesota Board of Teaching as a School Social Worker, School Psychologist and Special Education Director.
