August 14 2013 Conference: Racial And Ethnic Disproportionality in Special Education: What Can We Learn From Schools Nationwide?

The College of Education & Human Development (CEHD) and the Division of Special Education at the Minnesota Department of Education are co-sponsors of this conference for districts concerned with disproportionate identification and discipline of African American students in special education. Keynote speakers are Russel J. Skiba and Shana Ritter, specialists on issues related to equity in education.
